Post nerf w/mes witmans grawl build
Since I was inspired by Racthoh's solo build to farm them a long time ago, I thought I'd share mine:
(I don't have much time to read the entire forum, so my apologies if this has been posted before. I also apologize for my English, since I am not a native speaker)
W/Mes
Mantra of frost (Grawl crones supply you with energy now )
Dolyak (needed against grawl KD)
Quivering blade (elite) (just 4 adrenaline needed for extra dmg, grawls don't block)
Standing slash (does extra dmg when in stance for just 6 adrenaline)
Riposte
Deadly Riposte
Heal sig
skill of your choice (armor buff, speed buff, adrenaline buff, a mes skill for bosses...)
Weapon: Lightning sword of defense with 15% dmg bonus while in stance.
Shield: Stance CCS
Armor: Full set of legionaires armor + tac helm with sup abs and sup vigor rune. I have done this with glads armor and mixed armor, too, but full legionaires works best.
attributes:
Inspiration 8
Swords 8 +3
Strength 9 +2
Tactics 11 + 1 + 3
(you receive so little dmg, that you can do it w 2 sup runes +1 major easily)
The idea behind the build:
Grawls always come in mixed groups with crones. Crones do cold dmg, thus mantra of frost both supplies your energy and protects you from them.
At 8 inspiration, you can easily keep mantra up all the time.
Since you are permanently in stance, you use legionaires armor which is 110 armor vs physical and 90 vs elemental dmg (when in stance)
On the contrary to the previous builds, you want to keep at least one or two crones alive till you have finished the grawls, since the crones supply your energy.
Hf.
Critique and suggestions wellcome

some crones are doing dark dmg
as you said, keep a "supply crone".
as the build is slower (no speed buff stance), i'll suggest to bring hundred blades/sun&moon slash or cyclone axe/tripple chop

I would not like to go without ripostes, so axe is out. Since the mobs usually are mixed, you can't just swap weapons.
The build isn't much slower than the classic one I used before. Both quivering and standing do decent skill dmg at low cost.
I'll try 100blades and sun/moon, since I have a spare slot, I can fit in sun/moon anyway.

Ah, cold damage... time to find a +10 vs. cold shield. Wasn't sure if it was dark or cold they were doing with their wands.
